This is Susie, our Breakfast Supervisor. She is in charge of our “Breakfast House” and making sure our guests have a great dining experience at the Abbey. She and the rest of the breakfast staff do an amazing job.
Here are some comments that our guests gave about the breakfast:
“Can’t say enough about the wonderful breakfast! …The breakfast staff was really nice…”
“The entire staff, from the people at the desk to those handling the complimentary breakfast, were top notch. ”
If you get a chance, you can ask Susie and the other girls about some local insights to Cedar City and Southern Utah. Here are some of Susie’s favorite Cedar City secrets.
Favorite Local Restaurant:
The Garden House, especially their steak and vegetable dish. For dessert, be sure to get a slice of cheesecake.
Favorite Cedar City Event/Activity:
The July Jamboree. The whole city comes together downtown. You have to see all of the amazing classic cars.
There are so many things to do in Southern Utah. Be sure to enjoy the beautiful drive to Cedar Breaks. Try skiing at Brian Head. And make sure you schedule enough time to do multiple hikes at Zion.
Thank you, Susie for all you do for us at the Abbey Inn!
The time has come for us to say goodbye to 2012 and to our hotel bathrooms. We are remodeling all of our hotel bathrooms with new everything! We are so excited that we couldn’t wait to show the progress we’ve been making.
This is before.
This is during the demo
And this is where we are right now…
Thanks to the hard work of our maintenance men Bob and Chris, this project is moving right along. Thanks guys!
After a five year absence, the beloved Cedar City tradition A Christmas Carol on the Air returns to the stage. Peter Sham and Brad Carroll (the creators of the international hit Lend Me a Tenor: The Musical) bring us this fun twist on an old Christmas classic.
In this retelling of Dicken’s beloved story, the characters are putting on a holiday classic radio show; complete with sound effects, commercials, and backstage antics. As is the tradition, Fred Adams (the founder of the Utah Shakespeare Festival) plays Ebeneezer Scrooge. With Christmas music, hilarious mishaps, and memorable characters, this show is just what you need to get in to the spirit of Christmas.
