Meet our Staff

We continue the series “Meet Our Staff” with one of our super front desk employees, Sharlee. Because our staff is often asked about what to do and where to go in Cedar City, we thought we’d share some of Sharlee’s local insights.

Favorite thing to do in Cedar City: “I love to walk Main Street. My friends and I go in and out of the little shops and always stop by Bulloch Drug to get ice cream and to play the jukebox.”

Favorite Restaurant: “A Taste of Hawaii is delicious! It is an adorable little restaurant squeezed in on Main Street. The lady who owns it is really sweet and the food is so good! Maggie Moos is a fun local place to get yummy ice cream!”

So come in and say “hi” to Sharlee. She is very sweet and professional and can give lots of advice to our guests.

Shakespeare Goes Gershwin

Presented by the Guild of the Utah Shakespeare Festival

The Utah Shakespeare Festival presents an evening of memorable music from the legendary composer George Gershwin.  Written by Festival Founder Fred C. Adams, directed by Festival Executive Director Scott Phillips, and overseen by Musical Director Brad Carroll, this show brings together a powerhouse of creative minds.

Dates: April 19-20th, 2013

Time: 7:30 pm

Location: Randall Jones Theater

Tickets: $18-$50, call 1-800-PLAYTIX, or go to www.bard.org

A dessert reception with the cast and creative team will be held after the show on stage.  Tickets can be purchased for $10 or are included in Premier Seating.  Space is limited, and tickets cannot be purchased online.

After the renovation

We have finally completed our bathroom renovations (for half of the hotel that is.)  It was a lot of work, but it was worth it.

Take a look at what we’ve done.

Thank you to all of our staff who worked so hard to get these rooms completed.  They are currently working on the second half of the hotel, so in the next few months, if you’d like to ensure you get a room with a new bathroom, make sure you request it  upon making the reservation.
